Michigan K-12 Students Eligible for 2-for-1 Red Wings or Pistons Tickets
The Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Pistons and the Michigan Education Association (MEA) are teaming up to support Michigan Reads, a program that encourages reading with special promotions at Michigan sporting events.
Here’s how it works: Parents and educators can register their children or students by clicking the button at right. Read five books and have your parent or guardian document your accomplishments. Then pick which 2-for-1 ticket offer you prefer: The Red Wings or the Pistons.
That’s it! Once a student is registered and reads five books, the Red Wings or Pistons will send an email to confirm your 2-for-1 ticket order.
For the Detroit Red Wings, you’ll receive a FREE student ticket (a $15 value on weeknights, $20 on weekends) with accompanying purchase of a regular price adult ticket ($30 on weeknights, $40 on weekends.)
For the Detroit Pistons, you can choose 2-for-1 pricing on $30 or $40 tickets (two tickets for $30 or two tickets for $40) or additional discounts on higher priced seats at the Palace. You’ll pay no Ticketmaster fees with this offer.
All Michigan K-12 students are eligible to participate in Michigan Reads. Register now, read five books… and catch the action at the Joe or at the Palace!
