When I met this author he was shy and easy going and had a book he wrote and put some illustrations in. I was fascinated by his work and though he noted it as young adult I bought it anyway.

I know I am a young adult at heart, but I enjoyed this book immensely and have seen the author many times since. (Bad me for not writing a review sooner) he talks about certain elements of the book and is mesmerizing now (his pitch has gotten much better) but he barely scratches the surface of a magical circus and a coming of age story about a boy who finds himself in it.

The characters are well defined and the story is fun and whimsical as it whisks you around a world between fantasy and reality. Younger adults will be enthralled but even us older adults will enjoy the book as we follow Flynn and his adventure.

A fun read for all.
